Water Bath Canning Workshop

Come join us at the University of Maryland Extension in Wicomico for a hands-on workshop on water bath canning. During this workshop, we will provdie an overview of safe food preservation & canning techniques. You will learn the process for canning tomatoes and take a jar of canned tomatoes home. We will guide you through the process step by step, so you can confidently preserve your favorite foods at home. Space is limited, register today!

Items for bid will be on display for guests to see. When the auction begins, auctioneer gives a description, retail value, and how many quarters are required to bid.
If interested, place quarters in the container on the table and hold up your paddle(s).
When all bids are collected, a number will be drawn. If your paddle matches, you win the item!

Women Supporting Women’s Quick Finisher 0.0 Un-Run

What is a Quick Finisher 0.0 Un-run? It is a marathon for the less active. This event is perfect for those who want to enjoy the atmosphere of a marathon without the actual running. Just line up at the start/finish line in your most comfortable “active wear.” At the sound of the horn, step across the line and then celebrate your strong finish with food, drinks, raffles, and music. It is a great way to bring people together for a good time without the physical exertion all while raising funds for Women Supporting Women.
